Sketchbook Q001

I collect everyday life. I choose essential and quite insignificant elements. Then I close them in a two-dimensional space. They are often out of the context, or occurring in a new seemingly illogical connections. This is the way I put new order in the surrounding me reality. I make an attempt to understand and reconcile the dual nature of things: rationality and irrationality.

Q001 sketchbook is a painting object, which in 2011 started the Sketchbook Q cycle consisting of 14 objects now and still being continued.

Q001 has been created for over a year in the process of continued searching and widening of expressing media. Thus it is very various. It contains: drawings with a ink, pencils, markers, completed by sketches, illustrations, reprints, leaflets and newspapers, labels as well as full-page color pages.
